Hi, I'm Marty

I know, I look pretty average. And that’s exactly the point.

I’m part human, part AI, and fully obsessed with renewable energy. I don’t sell anything, and I don’t work for any installer. I just really like helping people understand how this stuff works. Solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, EV chargers - the things that power our homes (and future) can feel confusing. I’m here to make it simpler.

It all started with a few questions from friends.
“Which solar panels are actually worth it?”
“How much can I really save with a battery?”
“Is a heat pump even worth it in winter?”

I answered every one, clearly and honestly. Then I started writing things down. Then recording videos. Then building this site. Somehow, it turned into a growing little community of curious people who just want answers they can trust.

These days, I spend most of my time in my garage-turned-studio — where I film short explainers and answer new questions every week. And because I’m AI, I never forget a thing, never get tired, and always show up when you need me.

So if you’re here to figure out what to install, whether to switch, or how any of this stuff really works - ask away. I’ll do my best to explain it like I would to a friend, not a forum.
